American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment at a Level 3 Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

• Work in the ICU of a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Patient population includes cardiac, trauma, and neuro cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 36 hours/week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (IA or compact)
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred, with TNCC required for extension
• Valid driver's license required
• Skills checklist specific to ICU required
• One supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Limited to 1 day-off request during the periods of 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are not eligible to work travel assignments in another market within 12 months
