Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Sioux City, IA, requiring an active IA or compact license and at least 2 years of critical care experience.

• Active RN license (IA or Compact)
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• TNCC preferred, required if extending
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Valid driver's license required
• One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within the past 2 years required

• Level 3 Trauma Center ICU setting
• Patient population includes cardiac, trauma, and neuro cases
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Limited to 1 day-off request during specified Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday windows
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may not work travel assignments at other UPH market facilities if employed within the past 12 months
