The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operational effectiveness of bars and other related beverage outlets within the property.

• Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and supervision of beverage staff
• Prepare team member schedules, organize workloads and staff assignments, and train, motivate, and evaluate beverage staff
• Update beverage menus and ensure all team members are properly trained on recipes
• Develop long- and short-range financial objectives for liquor sales while maintaining budgeted labor and staffing levels
• Manage department’s financial data and related documents to maintain effective cost and portion controls in the department
• Work alongside department management to review beverage activities and implement company-wide and local sales promotions
• Assist bartenders and beverage servers in general duties as needed (i.e., drink preparation)
• Ensure guest satisfaction through constant interactions with guests and team members throughout the facility
• Communicate to management in a timely fashion of any guest compliments or complaints
• Maintain and enforce compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Degree in a relevant field preferred
• Two years of progressive experience in high-volume food and beverage operations preferred
• Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and customer volume.
