C.A. Fortune is looking for a Temporary Retail Sales Merchandiser to service Hy-Vee. This is temporary position scheduled to end January 11, 2027. You will be responsible for selling, building relationships with store management, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts as well as reporting tasks in a reporting system, with varied merchandising opportunities This is a position where you work independently, follow direction, and have excellent communication skills.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and maintaining auto insurance are all required

Location:

Sioux City, IA Salary: $18 - $20 hourly depending on years of experience and expertise This position is part time 20 - 30 hours a week No Weekends. Work is to be completed between Monday and Friday.

• Represent a diverse portfolio of national and regional brands, calling on Hy-Vee
• Function as the primary liaison between store leadership and manufacturer partners to maximize shelf space, promotional execution, and distribution - directly contributing to sales growth
• Pitch new products, secure incremental placement, adapt to quickly shifting business needs while consistently delivering sales objectives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Utilize mobile technology to take photos, report findings, and complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Must maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores
• Must adhere to attendance and dress code guidelines
• Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e., frequent standing , walking , bending , squatting , lifting , etc. throughout the workday
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

• Local to the Sioux City, IA area
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are all required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Merchandising: 1 year (Required)
• Positive and professional attitude and appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
• Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, Email, and Internet Explorer)
• Cell phone, printer, and computer with internet accessibility
