ImOn Communications has been the LOCAL choice for business telecommunications services in the Siouxland area since 1997. Over the last two years, we have expanded our network to offer fiber-to-the-home Internet services to Siouxland residents. As we grow our network, we are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team.

A Sales Support Specialist assists the sales team in obtaining and keeping customers by performing administrative and clerical tasks. Their main duties include responding to customer questions, making sure orders are processed on time and install ready.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative and sales purposes, providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.
  • Support all sales channels through communicating weekly and monthly promotional offerings.
  • Assist in prepare proposal materials, including data entry, editing, and verifying proposal information.
  • Assist with tenant bulk upgrade accounts.
  • Compiling a list of sales leads, delegating leads to the sales department, and providing sales data and guides to the sales department.
  • Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales and staff members, managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports.
  • Recording sales trends and other reporting as needed for management.
  • Creating and processing orders in a timely manner and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
  • Work within Customer Relationship Management CRM system to maintain accounts, contacts, notes, activities, and contracts. The accuracy of contracts with pricing detail, products, point of contact, order dates for our sales team is crucial.
  • Provide timely customer service and communication via phone, email, or in person to all internal teams, sales, and clients in a professional, positive, and respectful manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience in sales support, administrative support or customer service-based role.
It would be a plus if you had:
  • Associate’s Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent.
