Responsibilities & Duties:- Assemble, install and repair plumbing and med gas systems according to project specifications and appropriate trade and building codes
- Diagnose problems and/or failures in a variety of plumbing and gas systems
- Repair and install various types of piping including iron, steel, copper and pvc
- Test for leaks in new and repaired systems with compressed air and/or water
- Operate powered equipment including hand tools, stationary machines and others as required
- Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
Qualifications & Skills:
- Competent, responsible, organized and team-oriented
- Maintains a high quality initiative while completing assigned duties
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and with others to meet performance goals
- Have an Iowa journeyman’s license (Preferred)
- Attend plumbing apprentice classes, provided by CW Suter Services, if the required courses have not previously been completed
