Accounts Receivable Accountant

Preform Solutions, Inc. is a well-established, rapidly growing company that manufactures products for the packaging industry.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Accountant.

This position will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting records, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The role will primarily focus on Accounts Receivable but will also cross-train to assist with Accounts Payable as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of general accounting practices
• Experience posting journal entries and performing bank reconciliations
• Responsibility for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Ability to research discrepancies and implement corrections
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls
• Assist with invoicing and general ordering
• Submit Purchase Orders
• Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones and guest check-in as needed
• Filing and document management
• Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting experience (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High mathematical aptitude
• Ability to research independently

COMPENSATION

• Full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-term Disability, and 401(k) plan with company match. Company-paid Long-term Disability and Life Insurance, PTO, and paid holidays.
• Salary range: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience

HOURS

Typically 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
