Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

Job Overview

Our client, a reputable property management company, is seeking a detail-oriented and driven In-House Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being a key part of a collaborative office.

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, and general ledger maintenance

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management

• Prepare and monitor budgets for properties under management

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

• Collaborate with property managers and leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations

• Support annual audits and tax filings by coordinating with external accountants

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, real estate, or a related industry

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Yardi, App Folio, or similar)

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
