We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate must have strong Quick Books experience, excellant organizational skills, hands-on experience with IFTA filing, AP, AR, sales and excise tax filing, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records in Quick Books
- Process and manage payroll including payroll taxes, deductions, and reporting
- Manage Accounts Payable including tracking invoices and vendor payments
- Manage Accounts Receivable including creating accurate invoices, tracking payments, collections and bank deposits
- Filing Sales and Excise taxes
- Prepare and file IFTA reports with accuracy
- Reconciliation of bank and credit accounts
- Assist with financial audits and year-end tax preparation
- Communicate with vendors, customers, financial institutions and tax agencies as needed
- Maintain accurate filing systems
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality
