We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will serve as a critical link between data analysis and customer relationship management. Reporting to senior leadership, this role involves working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and executive teams. The ideal candidate thrives on both detailed analysis and direct customer interaction, using data to identify opportunities while also managing day-to-day account needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Develop and maintain advanced sales planning, forecasting, and performance reports
Create analyses that help leadership identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Prepare executive-level presentations and business reviews
Analyze customer, product, pricing, and market data to support commercial decisions
Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking
Manage metal market surcharge calculations and product costing analysis
Prepare reporting for engineering project costs and maintain supporting documentation

Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and coordinate internal follow-up
Support account managers in maintaining strong customer relationships
Monitor customer satisfaction and communicate feedback throughout the organization
Participate in customer meetings and internal account reviews
Ensure customer commitments and action items are effectively tracked

Commercial Support:

Maintain databases for RFQs, quotations, and related commercial activities
Assist with preparation and analysis of customer quotations
Support product order management and delivery requirements
Lead cross-functional meetings related to customer programs and business performance
Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as requested by leadership

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships at all levels
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with customers and executives
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing and presenting complex data
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office for executive-level presentations
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with understanding of broader business impact
Experience influencing outcomes across departments without direct authority
Experience with ERP, CRM, business intelligence, or reporting systems preferred
Background in manufacturing, automotive, off-highway equipment, or related industrial markets is a plus
