As a Senior Estimator at Journey Construction, you will be at the forefront of initiating and completing tasks crucial to estimating successful and complex commercial construction projects. Leading a team of estimators, you will provide guidance and training to ensure high-quality work on various project stages. Collaborating with architects, consultants, and internal teams, you will develop winning bid strategies and pricing models while maintaining compliance with standards and policies.

To excel as a Senior Estimator at Journey Construction, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering, along with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating or project management. Proficiency in software tools such as Sage Timberline, Digital Takeoff (Planswift), Bluebeam/PDF, Google Earth, Revit, and Sketchup is preferred. Essential skills include strong leadership, construction cost expertise, analytical and negotiation skills, and effective communication abilities.

Successful candidates will demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, maintain a value-added approach to estimating, and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
