Superintendent in Training

GPC is a private construction firm that specializes in building projects. We are looking for responsible individuals to join our team and train in all aspects of construction work!

GPC is seeking a Superintendent in Training. This person will monitor construction projects for their entire lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES-On-Site Project Administration-Document review-Daily inspection/logging-Safety inspection-Inspection coordination-Schedule management/coordination-Cost management-Personnel Management - Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.

-Technical management/participation with field personnel in self performed trade work, demolition, concrete, carpentry, etc.

-Subcontractor coordination-Quality control-Coordination with project management team-Provide progress and project updates.

-Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly WHY GPC?

-Basic knowledge of quality and safety guidelines for construction job sites-Good understanding of construction operations and processes. Basic proficiency in reading/reviewing construction plans/specs.

-Proficient in MS Office, Excel-Degree in Engineering, construction management or similar field or applicable experience is a plus.

-Good Driving record & Valid Driver's License
