St. Lambert Elementary

St. Katharine Drexel Elementary

• Promote the mission of Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools and model the teaching of the Catholic Church
• Support the growth and development of students in their faith
• Collaborate with the Student Assistance Team and consult with parents, teachers, clergy, and administrators to address student concerns and progress
• Coordinate standardized testing at the building level, including materials organization, teacher training, and data analysis
• Provide in services and professional development to staff on testing procedures, data interpretation and educational resources
• Maintain connections with external counseling agencies and support community programs
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, collect and transition student assessment data, attend relevant workshops, and fulfill other duties as assigned

• Master's degree or higher in counseling
• South Dakota school counselor certificationli>
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Maintain high level of confidentiality

• Ability to work daytime hours, primarily Monday-Friday
• Clarity of vision
• Ability to speak English clearly
• Ability to hear and distinguish sounds, including speech, alarms and other work environment sounds
• Fine hand motor skills to include and not limited to keyboarding, writing, grasping, holding, and repetitive motion
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk through work day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to intermittently bend, squat, and reach overhead
