Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. As a General Worker, you would have the opportunity to share these improvements firsthand with the students of our District through the preparation and serving of our meals.

RequirementsEducation Level: Bachelor's degree - with academic major or concentration in food and nutrition, food service management, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or related field, preferred. Training experience required.
OR Associate’s degree with 3-5 years of experience working in large quantity food preparation, required. Must have experience and understanding of state food code, recognized certificate in food and nutrition, food service management, nutrition education, culinary arts or business, Serv Safe certified. Training Experienced required.
Experience Desired: Three to five years of experience leading others in a supervisory capacity for a school food service program with multiple units, commercial food service operation or similar field desired.
Physical Requirements: Post-offer physical (funded by the District) required prior to starting position. Requires constant hearing, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination; intermittent keyboarding, sitting and lifting. Frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers, standing, walking and carrying.

Classified Staff Salary Schedule
Hours & FTEMonday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm with a working lunch
Hours may vary.
1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 9 months
