! - Successful student teaching or experience teaching in a Spanish learning environment.
- Native or near native Spanish skills with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish and English.
- Meet District Spanish language competency standards for oral and written proficiency established through objective means selected by the District and through lesson demonstration.

- Compensation:
Starting at $52,821 to $59,485, based on experience. - Health Benefits:

Instructional Coach and Mentoring program for educators who are new to the Sioux Falls School District
Education Level: Bachelor's degree and eligibility for or possession of valid South Dakota teaching certificate required. Student teaching or prior teaching experience in Spanish learning environment.
Experience Desired: Ability to share authentic-Spanish cultural experiences gained through personal experience living in Spanish speaking country or location. Previous Spanish Language Immersion program teaching experience desired.
Physical Requirements: Hand-eye, mind-eye coordination. Constant hearing; intermittent speaking, standing, walking and writing. Frequent carrying, keyboarding, and other repetitive motions.
Other Requirements: Skills in human relations, leadership and conflict management. Knowledgeable of teaching techniques that meet the diverse needs of students. Demonstrated skills in the use of technology to enhance student learning.
Certification: This position requires a valid South Dakota teaching certification with one of the following endorsements: to be determined. Endorsement requirements may vary based on specific course assignments.
