- The Program Coordinator plays a critical leadership role in establishing, organizing, and launching the Sioux Falls School District's operational framework for the Education Freedom Tax Credit federal program (effective January 1, 2027). Under tight implementation timelines set by the federal government, this position is responsible for monitoring emerging federal regulations, designing internal administrative processes, and leading proactive community and staff outreach.
The position relies heavily on exceptional relational capabilities and transparent, accessible writing to ensure our staff, families, and community members fully understand and benefit from available educational funding. - The District seeks to hire up to two half-time (or close to half-time) program coordinators. Candidates working half-time, (.50 FTE/20 hours per week) are eligible for fringe benefits including health, vision, dental, life, disability, SD Retirement System, and paid leave.
