The City of Sioux Falls is currently seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to join our engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, design, and management of a wide range of municipal infrastructure and development projects, specifically sanitary sewer infrastructure. Your technical knowledge, experience supporting engineering tasks, and proficiency working with GIS will be essential for analyzing spatial data, improving system efficiency, and contributing to successful project outcomes.

You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure projects meet regulatory standards, align with organizational goals, and address community needs. Graduation from high school or GED certification and completion of a two- (2-) year course in engineering technology; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver’s license.
