Enterprise Engineering, Inc. has one position available for a Mechanical Engineer to be filled at either the South Dakota Office in Sioux Falls or the Alaska Office in Anchorage.
Job SummaryAs a Mechanical Engineer I (aka Engineer-In-Training or EIT), the position assists in the preparation of engineering and design documents under direct supervision. Applies basic knowledge of engineering and construction materials related to engineering evaluation and design in collaboration with other engineers or project managers. Works with engineering teams to assist in the evaluation or design of various project aspects.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Passed or working towards passing the Engineer in Training (EIT) Exam.
- Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and internationally.
- Working towards obtaining professional licensure.
- Work predominantly in an office environment. Occasional outside work in various conditions.
- See, hear and communicate with others in varying conditions using various methods.
- Travel independently for varying periods, both domestic and international.
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Sit or stand for sustained period.
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
- Walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
Selected candidates must successfully pass drug screening and background check.
