Multi-Unit Team Leader

Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block – lead three tax offices and guide customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. This role is in-person and requires travel between offices.

Sioux Falls, SD

Compensation: $70,000.00–$80,000.00

• Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
• Serve as the front-line manager for leadership and development of associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives for three offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
• Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season; from January to April, transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment (where applicable).

• Multi-unit people management experience in the retail, restaurant, banking, or other related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth plans and foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
• Ability to travel between offices as needed.
