Job Description

The Accountant II will play a pivotal role within the Finance Department, overseeing a broad range of critical functions. This position involves analyzing financial information and preparing comprehensive financial, regulatory, and statistical reports. The role also includes significant involvement in the planning and budgeting process, executing ad hoc analyses, and providing variance reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

+ Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Prepare and deliver financial, regulatory, and statistical reports.

+ Participate actively in the planning and budgeting process.

+ Complete ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

+ Provide variance reporting to stakeholders to aid decision-making.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in accounts payable and invoice processing.

+ Strong data entry and reconciliation skills.

+ Fluency in Microsoft Office applications.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.

+ Familiarity with Netsuite ERP, Excel, and Outlook.

+ Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The role is hybrid with 2 days/week ndard hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, or 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
