Federal Police Officer (Uniformed Division) $50,000 Recruitment Incentive
Join the U.S. Secret Service as a Federal Police Officer (Uniformed Division) with a $50,000 Recruitment Incentive.
The base pay range is $75,134.00/yr - $/yr. Note that this position must be performed in Washington, DC, and relocation will be required.

Applicants may be eligible for a $50,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements.

DutiesUniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection, including:
- Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
- Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
- Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
- Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time of conditional offer of employment.
- Carry and use a firearm, and maintain firearm proficiency.
- Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
- Meet hearing loss requirements.
- Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while occupying the position.
- Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
- Certify registration with the Selective Service System or be exempt.
