Catering Server

This position is open only to candidates residing in the Sioux Falls metropolitan area.

Join our team at Riviera Events & Catering as a Catering Server, where you’ll be part of delivering exceptional service at weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings. In this role, you’ll set the stage for unforgettable moments—ensuring guests feel welcomed, served, and cared for from start to finish.

Assist with setting up tables, linens, glassware, silverware, and décor according to event specifications.

Ensure all serving areas, buffet tables, and stations are organized, clean, and visually appealing.

Greet guests warmly and professionally, making them feel valued and attended to.

Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining a polished and friendly demeanor.

Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate needs throughout the event.

Work closely with the event coordinator and catering team to ensure smooth food and beverage service.

Clear tables and refresh settings quickly and discreetly between courses.

Assist in replenishing buffet stations as needed.

Help with event tear‑down, including packing equipment, linens, and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and after the event.

Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.

Previous serving or catering experience is preferred but not required—training provided.

Starting $20 Hourly Rate
