Onsite Responsibilities:

Provide prompt, personable service to all levels of employees in various areas of human resource management including recruiting, retention, onboarding, orientation, leave programs, and benefits education.

Serve as a trusted resource for team members, ensuring a positive working environment.

Develop recruiting and retention strategies for positions spanning 3 states.

Manage the yearly seasonal hiring process and conduct interviews.

Ensure accurate completion of new hire paperwork and coordinate initial training.

Partner with the payroll specialist to ensure timely entry of new hire records.

Promote the company in the community through participation in career fairs and local events.

Collaborate with managers on performance evaluations and coaching documents.

Assist with employee leave requests and ensure proper documentation is completed.

Collect records for employee injury claims and facilitate information requests.

Provide assistance with questions regarding company benefits and assist with open enrollment.

Continually update knowledge relevant to HR best practices and compliance.

Participate in employee recognition events and recommend new engagement ideas.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources required.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.

Experience with federal and multi-state compliance issues required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Demonstrated commitment to fairness and confidentiality required.

Ability to make sound recommendations in resolving problems.

Preferred

Skills:

Experience in retail and/or pharmacy is desired.

Professional in Human Resource Certification desired.
