We’re looking for an Associate Attorney who is eager to learn, compassionate, and ready to build a long-term career in disability advocacy. Prior experience in Social Security or disability law is not required – we provide training, mentorship, and support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Represent clients in Social Security Disability matters (initial claims, reconsiderations, and hearings)
- Prepare and review case files, medical records, and legal documentation
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and the Social Security Administration
- Advocate for clients at hearings (training and support provided)
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver strong client outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in South Dakota or ability to become licensed shortly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Compassion, patience, and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to manage deadlines and work through detailed information
- Interest in public service, advocacy, or disability law
- No or minimal legal experience required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
