Cornerstone Private Asset Trust Company, LLC is a boutique trust company that helps businesses and individuals implement estate planning goals and transition wealth from one generation to the next. We provide services above and beyond those of a traditional trust company by focusing on the individual nature of each client and their long-term goals. With offices in Sioux Falls, SD and Bloomington, MN, Cornerstone provides unique tax advantages to its clients as well as a wide variety of specialized trust services, including trusts under wills, dynasty, charitable, and revocable living wills.

This role serves as the Compliance Officer for Cornerstone and oversees all aspects of the Trust Operations function. The incumbent will design and implement operations systems to streamline business operations and maximize revenue while managing process and people. This position requires the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable tasks and to serve as the AML/BSA expert internally, creating proactive compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risk.

The role is hybrid with some in‑office expectations and the opportunity to work remotely. Candidates must live in, or be open to relocating to, Sioux Falls, SD.

• Oversee all aspects of Trust Operations
• Lead Trust Operations and Administrative staff
• Manage, implement, and own all technology solutions, including updates and employee training
• Research and recommend changes when necessary
• Manage new initiatives and efficiency projects
• Ensure compliance and due diligence through monthly, quarterly, and annual processes
• Create and maintain an internal audit program
• Serve as AML/BSA Compliance Officer
• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting for SDDB and participate in annual audits
• Continuously improve processes by analyzing existing ones and optimizing for accuracy and efficiency
• Identify priorities and opportunities for interdepartmental improvements
• Analyze data to support decision making
• Implement business strategy under direction from the President
