Welder​/Fabricators Sioux Falls, SD

ARC Fabricators has an immediate need to hire a Welder/Fabricators. We are currently looking for experienced welders/fabricators that enjoy custom steel fabrication.

• $20.00 – 25.00 per hour depending on experience

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Collaborating directly with plant manager, shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products.
• Proficient in modern welding techniques and equipment.
• Using wire and filler material applications for various steel fabrication.
• Using manual and power tools for finish grinding applications.
• Utilizing knowledge of various machines, welding practices, mathematics and building materials.
• Reading, understanding and following detailed drawings and blueprint specifications.
• Performing all job functions and using all equipment safely by following all safety policies and good housekeeping practices.
• Handling other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2-3 years of welding experience.
• Metal fabrication experience, preferably in welding.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
• The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat (proper PPE & safety training will be provided).
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
