Material Handler Lead Processing

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work alongside and supervise Material Handling and ensure smooth operation of our production lines in Sioux Falls, SD. The Material Handler Lead will assist with machine processing including all start-ups and shut-downs during the shift, and making adjustments to machines to improve product quality. The Shift Lead is the first point of contact for the Material Handlers that report to the Weekend Night shift.

This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of production and offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values excellence.

• The Shift Lead will work alongside the Material Handlers on the shift to ensure production needs are met
• Provide direction to Material Handlers to ensure tasks during the shift are prioritized
• Work in Material Handling, completing duties such as scanning and moving completed product into inventory, building boxes, monitoring material levels, and completing quality checks
• Ensure quality audits are being completed twice during each shift
• Monitor production lines for quality issues and address them promptly
• Operate forklifts and add materials to machines to maintain production
• Perform shut-down and start-up of machines/equipment as needed
• Communicate production issues to management, and make processing corrections as needed to ensure quality product is being produced
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment

• Strong mechanical ability
• Prior supervisory experience
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and multitask effectively

Starting wage of $26/hour + differential pay for applicable hours (see details below).Shift differential may vary based upon actual hours worked.
