Inventory Clerk

Do you have prior Excel experience, thrive in a position that requires detail and organization, and enjoy researching discrepancies and finding solutions? Preform Solutions would love for you to join our growing team as an Inventory Clerk.

We are a Sioux Falls locally owned and operated manufacturer of plastic containers for the packaging industry for over 20 years.

• Accurately count and enter inventory count data into a spreadsheet for main production plant and offsite warehouse locations (all in Sioux Falls)
• Research any inventory discrepancies and correct by checking move tickets, physical locations, and shipping/receiving information to determine correct counts
• Create and assist with pick lists, packing lists, bill of lading, and international paperwork for shipping/receiving
• Communicate with front office staff, shipping and receiving team, and other managers throughout the day as needed
• Attend daily production meeting and work with production scheduling to determine additional inventory being created
• Print and distribute labels for production runs and additional labels as needed
• Inventory production supplies
• Email inventory counts to stakeholders to assist with both supply ordering and logistics planning
• Assist with administrative and production duties as assigned

• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow-up timely
• Attention to detail
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products; must be able to complete data entry into Excel with limited direction
• Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to easily traverse production area, including stairs
• Work station will be on the production floor; ability to work in production environment with background noise
• Must have a current driver's license; will need to travel to other warehouse locations in Sioux Falls to verify inventory counts

• Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

• Starting rate of $24.00/hour
