Shift: Day Shift (7am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday) and Night Shift (3pm-1:30am, Monday – Thursday)

Count, stage and issue material for production jobs, receive items into stock, re-stock overages from closed jobs, issue items that are on short, fill material requisitions from production, and record data accurately as appropriate for each of these duties. Maintain housekeeping in stock areas. Responsible for data entry in the Business Management Software System.

• Count and issue material for jobs as per our scheduling system.
• Communicate with the buyers and others regarding part shortages.
• Issue items that are on a shortage sheet when item is received.
• Fill parts requisitions and input the item number and quantity into the Business Management Software System in a timely manner.
• Restock and transfer overage when job closes.
• Receive incoming product into the Business Management Software System. Tag the incoming product and place the product into stock.
• Ship outgoing products using customer selected carriers. Input data into the Business Management Software System. Tag the incoming product and place the product into stock. Print shipping labels as needed.
• Record data on issue listings, shortage sheets, communication forms, and input into the system.
• Legally drive company vehicles which requires a) a current driver license, and b) current automobile insurance in South Dakota.
• Perform inventory counts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Materials Associate is accountable for accuracy, thoroughness, timely completion of assigned duties, attendance, safe working habits, attitude, cooperation, and contribution to the overall Electronic Systems, Inc. team.

Must be able to a) lift up to 30 pounds, b) be willing to become certified forklift operator, and c) legally drive company vehicles. Basic knowledge and understanding of computer software applications and Business Management Software System is desired.
