Ophthalmology Ltd. delivers treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, as well as cornea transplants, oculoplastic surgery, retina surgery, and vitreoretinal surgery in Sioux Falls. Our eye-only ambulatory surgery center hosts the region's most experienced comprehensive ophthalmic surgery and subspecialty surgeons.

Ophthalmology Ltd. Eye Surgery Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time Registered Nurse - Operating Room for our fast-paced eye surgery center. Our ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, surgery center staff, physicians, and the public.

The Registered Nurse - OR plays a key component to the success of the operating room team and works alongside the Ophthalmologist, CRNAs, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, efficient procedures. Job duties include providing direct care and support to patients during eye surgery, maintaining current knowledge of sterile technique, executing proper use, care, and handling of surgical equipment, preparing the surgical suite, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

This position is full-time, Monday through Thursday, approximately 36 hours per week. No call, overnight, or weekend shifts. Occasional requests to add on a Friday morning may occur, but are not common.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-volume surgery center, and the candidate must be professional and able to stay on task while providing quality patient care.
