Description:
Responsible for administering and monitoring conscious sedation during procedures.
Circulate in a sterile environment.
Perform left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms.
Familiarity with equipment utilized in the unit, including Pyxis, Philips monitoring system, Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, and Acist contrast injection system.
Demonstrate necessary skills and experience as outlined.
Work within departments that include 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 2 procedural rooms with an average of 30 patients per day.
Maintain a nurse to patient ratio of 1:1.Undergo department-specific training as required.
Participate in on-call duties as necessary, including 1-2 calls per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks with a 30-minute response time.
Engage in a cancellation policy that allows for client cancellations within set parameters.
