Pay Range

$16.00/yr – $18.00/yr

Hours
  • Full-time
  • Requires 2 weekends per month
  • 6:30 am – 10 pm (opening to closing shift)
  • Operates 7 days a week; shifts may combine days
  • Rotating holidays

Qualifications & Job Functions
  • Love of animals
  • Professional manner at all times
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
  • Lift/carry 40 lb or more
  • Stand/walk for eight hours a day
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Use computer systems
  • Handle dogs on leashes and work in environment with disinfectants, animal dander and excretions
  • High integrity and positive attitude
  • Detail oriented
Essential Job Functions
  • Welcome human and pet guests
  • Identify animal body language/behavior
  • Follow safe handling procedures
  • Check in/out pet guests while providing excellent customer service
  • Escort pets to and from rooms
  • Work individually and as a team player
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility
  • Communicate with management and team members
  • Sanitize/disinfect pet suites, condos, boarding areas
  • Monitor and chart pet consumption and elimination; report concerns
  • Provide individual care to boarding guests
  • Feed and medicate per instructions
  • Perform activities as scheduled
Required Education
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year of professional animal experience preferred
