Applebee’s has become synonymous with the neighborhood and is known as Legacy Apple. We serve guests with food, drinks, and a welcoming bar atmosphere. The bartender will mix and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks as well as food, create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere, and assist with kitchen orders.

• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Interact verbally with all bar guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Serve food and drinks to all bar guests.
• Complete assigned opening and closing side work.
• Slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks.
• Present guest checks to bar patrons and make correct change or complete charge‑card transactions.
• Process employee and manager food orders.
• Relay food orders to the kitchen via the point‑of‑sale computerized register system.

• Ability to operate blenders, frozen‑drink machines, and other bar equipment.
• Stands during the entire shift.
• Frequent immersion of hands in water every five minutes.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off floor, and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Transport glass racks or cases up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.

The bartender role requires navigating throughout the restaurant and communicating with guests, moving items up to five pounds, occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, and bending and stooping. Adequate vision is needed to discern cleanliness and operate a touchscreen. Reasonable accommodations may be made if you have a disability.
