Job Purpose

The Account Executive is responsible for generating leads, developing, and nurturing customer relationships, driving new business, and establishing Twotrees Technologies as a trusted service provider. Relationships will need to be developed with customers and prospects, specifically with leaders in technology such as Managers, Directors, CIO, CTO  and other stakeholders in the technology decision making chain.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops new business by analyzing account potential, both current customer and new prospects; initiating, developing, and closing sales.
  • Identifies additional revenue potential in accounts by studying current business; engaging with key customer and company personnel who have worked with the customer; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities.
  • Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
  • Develops sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services. Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.
  • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations; seeking and completing relevant vendor training around related hardware and software solutions.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor  or Master  degree with a concentration in business administration, engineering or technology or 4 years successful sales experience, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Industry experience is a plus, particularly in technology and hardware sales
  • 3+ years sales experience exceeding quotas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to explain basic technical topics in simple terms, and think quickly and react to client questions
  • Self-motivated personality, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
Working Conditions
  • This job operates in a professional office environment
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and phones
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend work required as job duties demand
  • Business casual in office, and business professional in front of customers
Physical Requirements
  • Be able to sit for long periods of time without issues
