Sales Representative
The Junior Renewals Representative will gain a strong understanding of our small business loan products, target markets, and sales processes while developing essential industry skills. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for clients and support the senior sales team by handling loan-related inquiries, helping streamline the renewal process, and ensuring client requests are addressed promptly.
Junior Renewals Representatives manage a high volume of outbound calls (120–150 per day) to current and previous customers who may be seeking additional capital through a renewed small business loan. Qualified and interested customers are then transferred to a Senior Sales Representative to complete the renewal.
Essential Functions- Place phone calls, emails, and texts to assist past clients with new applications.
- Act resourcefully and in an innovative way to solve problems and complete tasks.
- Throughout the qualification process, you will learn to identify the specific needs of clients and how ECG’s products meet those needs.
- Reach out to inactive customers to understand their experience and attempt to bring them back to ECG for any future financing needs.
- Report to management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts, and new prospects.
- Develop relationships with clients.
Education and Experience
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience along with a track record of success and achieving goals and quotas.
- Strong relationship‑building skills needed to build rapport with business owners quickly and professionally.
- Analytical/problem‑solving skills are essential.
- Process‑oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- $15 - $15 an hour
- Starting pay -$15/hr plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) + Commissions
- Working hours - 8:00am-6:00pm (CST);
Work Days - M-F - Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
- Status - Full Time 40 hours, Benefit eligible 1st of month after 60 days
