Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR Large)

Join Butler Machinery as a customer‑focused Parts and Service Sales Representative in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will promote and sell the value of our parts and service offerings while assisting sales representatives with customer presentations and account development.

As a PSSR Large, you will identify and secure new larger‑scale customers within your assigned territory, maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, and ensure our large‑scale customers receive exceptional service and support.

• Assist salesmen with customer presentations
• Communicate with the Aftermarket Sales Manager to relay parts and service opportunities and progress on tasks assigned
• Market and sell the value of CAT parts and service
• Find new markets, customers, and applications within the territory
• Perform equipment inspections (certified used equipment, warranty inspections, certified truck service, and customer repair inspections)
• Develop knowledge of competitive products and suppliers
• Provide input on annual forecasts for territory potential
• Resolve customer issues
• Work with Customer Account Managers and Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas
• Maintain accurate customer records
• Promote the vision, mission, and values of BMC
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 2+ years of Service and Parts experience required
• 1+ year of Sales experience preferred
• Advanced computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strategic thinking, decision making, relationship building, conflict resolution, negotiation, presentation, resource utilization, and mechanical aptitude
• Clean driving record
• Availability to work extra hours on short notice
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed
