Armed Security Officer PT

We are currently seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer to be located at the Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, SD. This position will be responsible for maintaining the safety and protection of EROS Government facilities and personnel, including patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points and permitting entry.

Minimum Hourly Rate: $20.12; Health & Welfare Hourly Rate: $5 night or swing shifts).

Place of Performance: The Security Officer will provide support at the USGS, Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Hours of Operation: The Security Officer provides support 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Shift times: 7:00 a.m.

- 3:00 p.m.; 3:00 p.m.

- 11:00 p.m.; and 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• 21 years of age or older with valid license
• Background check (criminal/financial)
• Physical
• Drug screen
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification (issued by ADC)
