As a Security Officer - Unarmed Media Patrol in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned tech-focused locations, deterring incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence will support a secure environment for employees and visitors.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to support overall security needs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report on activities or incidents, documenting information as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions, provide assistance, and support a secure environment in tech, media, and telecom settings.
• Collaborate with management and local law enforcement as needed to escalate incidents or emergencies according to established procedures.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Consideration given to qualified candidates with criminal histories in line with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
