HVAC Technician - Level 2 at Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.

Sunbelt Rentals is the leading equipment rental company serving the industry with a diverse fleet and committed staff. As an HVAC Technician Level 2, you will deliver, install, and maintain portable HVAC equipment for our customers, ensuring equipment performance and safety.

• Communicates professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls.
• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment and trains authorized operators on safe use.
• Directs customers to sign appropriate paperwork and tracks serial numbers.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and tests all equipment, ensuring operation and appearance meet Sunbelt standards.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows all safety policies.
• Installs flexible gas hose on propane and natural gas applications and implements safe procedures for gas connections.
• Maintains accurate records of in‑stock and rented equipment with managers and sales engineers.
• Is on call for emergency service and is available on a rotating schedule for weekend and evening calls.

• 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience/training.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Availability for after‑hours and weekend work during peak periods.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair most HVAC equipment, applying all safety principles.
• HVAC certification preferred.

$19.91 – $28.62 per hour.
