Based in Sioux Falls, SD, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient fueling solutions for gas stations, commercial fleets, and bulk fuel operations. We're seeking a skilled Electronics Service Technician to join our team of certified professionals and help ensure our clients' equipment runs reliably and compliantly.
This is a field-based, full-time position involving hands-on work with modern petroleum dispensing systems, point-of-sale (POS) technology, tank monitoring, and low-voltage electronics. You'll enjoy variety in your day-to-day work, opportunities for manufacturer-sponsored training and certifications, and the satisfaction of providing essential services in a critical industry.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on petroleum equipment, including fuel dispensers, pumps, POS systems, tank gauging/monitoring, leak detection, and low-voltage electrical components.
- Conduct diagnostic testing using tools such as multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and specialized electronic detectors to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Install, program, calibrate, and start up new equipment while ensuring compliance with state, local, and industry safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding promptly to service calls, communicating clearly with clients, and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of service work, parts used, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency support.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in electronics, low-voltage systems, or petroleum equipment (e.g., Veeder-Root, Wayne, Verifone) a plus.
- 2+ years of experience as a service technician in electronics, low-voltage systems, computer networking/hardware, or a related field (petroleum equipment experience preferred but not required – we provide training).
- Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic computer networking.
- Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle (company vehicle provided for work use).
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within our service area and participate in overtime/on-call as needed.

8-hour shifts, with overtime and on-call rotation
