We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented independent contractors who take pride in their work and represent our company professionally.

As a Blind and Shade Installer, you will install window coverings in customers’ homes and businesses throughout Sioux Falls and nearby areas. This role requires practical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality results.

Our installers are often the face of Atlas Installers to our customers. Professional communication, respect for customers’ properties, and a positive customer experience are essential.

Previous installation experience is preferred, but we are open to capable individuals with strong hands-on skills who are willing to learn.

• Install blinds, shades, shutters, and other window coverings according to job specifications.

• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fit and function.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and ladders safely and effectively.

• Review work orders and installation instructions before beginning work.

• Troubleshoot installation challenges and identify appropriate solutions on-site.

• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation process.

• Protect customers’ homes and businesses and maintain a clean work area.

• Complete assigned jobs accurately, efficiently, and to a professional standard.

• Travel to customer locations throughout Sioux Falls and surrounding areas.

• Previous experience in window covering installation, construction, carpentry, or a related hands-on trade is preferred.

• Willingness to learn and develop installation skills.

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

• Able to work safely on ladders and lift and handle installation materials.

• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.

• Professional communication and customer service abilities.

• Dependable, organized, and capable of managing assigned jobs independently.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the local service area.

• Estimated weekly earnings of $200–$800, depending on completed jobs and available work.
