Are you passionate about helping individuals who have experienced trafficking or exploitation find safe and stable housing? Do you have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of survivors? If so, we are looking for a dedicated Housing Navigator to join our team at Call To Freedom in Sioux Falls, SD.
Job Responsibilities:- Assess the housing needs of survivors of trafficking or exploitation
- Develop and implement individualized housing plans
- Coordinate with community partners to identify and secure safe and stable housing options
- Provide ongoing support and advocacy to survivors as they transition into housing
- Collaborate with case managers and other team members to ensure integrated service delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of housing services provided
- Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Previous experience working with survivors of trafficking, exploitation, or other trauma
- Knowledge of housing resources and programs in the Sioux Falls area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with survivors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or related field preferred
Call To Freedom is a nonprofit organization based in Sioux Falls, SD that is dedicated to providing supportive services to survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. Our mission is to empower survivors and mobilize our community to end human trafficking through awareness, advocacy, and restorative care. We offer a range of services, including case management, counseling, housing assistance, and education and prevention programs.
