We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) to join our South Dakota Day Program team.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while mentoring and developing other Direct Support Professionals. As an LDSP, you'll provide direct support, promote independence, and help ensure high-quality services through leadership, coaching, and collaboration.

The South Dakota Day Program
, a program of Resources for Human Development (RHD), supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through person-centered services designed to promote independence, skill development, community engagement, and overall quality of life.

As a Lead Direct Support Professional, you'll work closely with the Program Manager, Direct Support Professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure individuals receive high-quality support consistent with their Individual Service Plans and personal goals.

As the Lead Direct Support Professional
, you will support the Program Manager in maintaining daily operations while providing direct care and leadership within the program.

You’ll serve as a mentor and role model for Direct Support Professionals while helping ensure services are delivered in accordance with each individual's support plan and applicable regulatory standards.

• Mentor, train, observe, and support Direct Support Professionals.
• Provide feedback regarding implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Model professional and positive interactions with individuals receiving services.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and quality service delivery.
• Support staff development through coaching and guidance.
• Collaborate with management and internal departments to ensure quality programming.
