Dakota Beverage is a family-owned beverage distributor based in Sioux Falls, SD. As the largest beer distributor in South Dakota, we proudly serve Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.

We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Route Delivery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll work alongside a delivery driver to provide excellent service to our customers, unload and stock beverage products, and help ensure each delivery is completed accurately and efficiently.

This position is a great opportunity to start your career in beer delivery and work toward becoming a Class A CDL driver. Dakota Beverage will assist you in obtaining your Class A CDL, giving you the opportunity to advance into a driving position and earn an increase in pay once you obtain your Class A CDL. Interest in obtaining a Class A CDL and advancing into a delivery driver position is encouraged.

• Assist the delivery driver with delivering beverage products to designated customers
• Help unload and move products safely and efficiently
• Put away and stock delivered products at customer locations
• Organize products to maintain an accurate and appealing presentation
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Follow safe lifting, handling, and delivery practices
• Work as part of a team to complete daily delivery routes efficiently
• Perform other delivery and warehouse-related duties as assigned

• Comfortable performing physical work and regularly lifting and moving beverage products
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous delivery, warehouse, beverage, or customer service experience is helpful but not required
