Warehouse Lead

This position involves leading and assisting with warehouse operations such as selecting, receiving, shipping, and inventory management. The role includes training associates, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks, and maintaining safety standards.

• Coordinate warehouse functions and oversee workflow, assigning tasks and reviewing for accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle and move products including dry goods, frozen foods, produce, and other items, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
• Operate industrial equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
• Train staff on procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Review orders and paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with resolving issues related to operations, associates, or customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and conduct equipment inspections.
• Report product quality issues and low stock levels.

• Minimum one year of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification for operating industrial equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and warehouse systems.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in multi-temperature environments.

Must frequently sit, walk, stand, lift, and handle objects in a warehouse setting with moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, is required.
