Database Administrator

We're a team that ships, supports one another, and is now hiring a Database Administrator to help us do more of it. We're looking for 1+ years of Facilitation; in return you'll get $53,000 - $84,000, ownership, and a team worth joining.

• Coach newer junior teammates through their first messy general project
• Push back, respectfully, when a Problem Solving shortcut will cost us later
• Anticipate the AK compliance wrinkle before it becomes a fire
• Contribute to process improvements that boost efficiency and reduce waste
• Keep Commerce Plus Inc's part-time commitments visible and on track
• Stitch together Active Listening and Stakeholder Management into one coherent workflow
• Notice the forever-learning gap between the spec and the shipped thing

• Familiarity with Commerce Plus Inc-scale workflows, or the appetite to reach them
• Comfort owning the unglamorous middle of a part-time project
• Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
• Willingness to relocate to Sitka, AK, or to make remote work
• A keen eye for quality and consistency in your output
• A learner's pace that keeps up with shifting requirements
• Junior-caliber judgment about when to absorb and when to esc
