Join our dynamic surgical team ecumbe Medical Center, and make a difference in patient care! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to support our surgical services. If you're passionate about healthcare and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Patient caseload daily: 6-14

• Procedures included:
  Endoscopy, Pain, Dental, ENT, General Surgery, Ortho, Podiatry, OB/GYN
• 2 years of experience required
• Equipment used:
  Powered equipment for orthopedics, total joint, colonoscopy/gastroscopy scopes and equipment
• Shifts:
  
  5 days per week, 8 hour shifts and sometimes longer.
• Call requirement (shared between 3 surgical techs)
• Orientation for new staff on the job: 13 weeks

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited technologist training program preferred.
• Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire and bi-annually thereafter.
• Clinical and High Risk Competency required within specified time frames.
• Experience required.

• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and surgical instrumentation.
• Knowledge of wound healing and complications.
• Familiarity with sterile technique and patient positioning.
• Awareness of normal growth and development across life cycles.
