** Exciting Opportunity for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse** *
* Job Description:
** - Join a dynamic team as a Clinical Nurse specializing in Emergency Department care.
- Provide a variety of nursing care procedures for patients of all ages.
- Utilize your professional knowledge and skills to assess specific patient conditions and treatments.
- Work independently to complete assignments while adhering to established guidelines, including:
- Provider's orders - Standards of care - Nursing policies and procedures manuals - Hospital policies - Support individuals and families through challenging medical situations.
- Make critical clinical decisions during your scheduled shift, maintaining accountability for all actions.
- Collaborate with managers, supervisors, or ancillary departments when faced with complex situations requiring additional resources.
- React calmly and make sound nursing judgments in emergency situations.
- Delegate and supervise the care provided by CNAs and Techs effectively.
** Shift Information:** - Nights/Variable shifts available
** Minimum Experience
Required:
** - Less than 1 year
** Certifications/Requirements:** - BLS - BCLS - PALS - Must have a current Alaska License at the time of submission - Must have or obtain flu vaccination
