ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Triage (Evening Shift) in Sitka, Alaska.

Sitka, AK

This is a 13-week contract position.

This position requires working Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will provide professional nursing care across the lifespan in accordance with organizational standards, policies, and evidence-based practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders and policy.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions or escalation of care.
• Provide patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs.
• Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Advocate for patient care and assist patients in navigating the healthcare system.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities.

A minimum of 1 year of clinical medical experience within the last 3 years is required. Candidates must have an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska at the time of submission.

• Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
