Driver, Heavy Duty I Logistics I

The responsibility for this role is to drive all types of vehicles from Port to Stockyards, Showrooms, Customers, Delivery centers etc. Vehicles should be checked on receipt from various locations and during dispatches. You will play a key role in maintaining the condition of new vehicles stored in the yard by conducting scheduled vehicle health checks, monitoring and maintaining battery condition, performing long-term storage inspections, washing and maintaining vehicle cleanliness, inspecting and maintaining tyre condition and pressure.

Candidate who is willing to perform long storage maintenance of vehicles in the stockyards/ port/ showroom or as specified by the yard marshal. The nature of work being flexi and to be able to work in odd hours including late night or early morning for delivery of vehicles to various centers as specified.

At Ebrahim K. Kanoo, we are looking for a Heavy-Duty Driver who will be reporting to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate for this role will have a good English communication skill, both written and verbal. You should have basic computer literacy, as the role requires the use of iPads to complete digital vehicle inspection checklists and operational records. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including familiarity with conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

You should possess valid Heavy Driving License and have 3 to 4 years of experience driving Heavy Vehicles such as HV Exceeding 3000kg, Trucks, Six Wheels, Tankers etc. Having a crane and forklift license is an advantage. Your will be driving Heavy and Light vehicles within Bahrain and responsible for safe loading and unloading of material and New Car. Completion of Secondary School is required.
